Upon taking delivery of the truck the transmission needs to be rebuilt. 1st and second work, but thats about it. I could drop it off at my local.. I have heard of 6.0 swaps but have not heard or seen of any one doing a 6.2 swap in a z71 tahoe. I just think that in order to achieve my hp goals it would be more realistic with a s/c 6.2 and a 4l80e swap. I would think with this swap it would allow me to run mid 12 in the 1/4 and massive torque for off road playing If you have a 4L60E optimized and just swap in a 4L80E, you'll see some reduction in power due to the increased rotating mass, and probably slight ET increase due to lower numerical 1st gear and increased mass going down the track. But, the reason to put in a 4L80E is it will stay together under power loads that would eventually kill a 4L60E
